The Ride is a short 2D animation addressing the struggles of grief. This project explores the embodiment of grief and the visual reinterpretation of avoidance of grief and emotions through the metaphor of a bus stop and bus riding to show a transitory period and progression in life. The point of this project is to encourage everyone to grieve properly, to face whatever it comes with as it is a precursor to acceptance, liberation and moving on with life.
